Freebie :: On This Day Memory Cards

Babies grow up too fast. One day they're a tiny newborn curled up in your arms and they next day they are 11 and asking for an iPhone. True story. It happened to me recently. Sigh. 11 years is a long time, in my book any way, to keep track of every milestone, every fun event, every memory. I always make it a point to jot down those milestones and memories, but was at a loss on how to organize them. That is until I decided to create an "On This Day" memory box.

Using an index card holder and index cards, I organized all those memories so I could easily look back and smile, or cry, or laugh hysterically. You get the point. Creating a memory box also made it much simpler to grab a card and jot down a memory of my boys! I keep a card for each month and when something memorable happens, I take the card from my memory box and add the date and a little bit of what happened on that day.

An awesome idea for preserving memories, right? Well, it gets even better! I just finished creating these super cute "On This Day" memory cards to add to my index card memory box, and I thought it would be sweet to share them with all of you! Each card is 3.5" x 5", there are 4 cards per page and there is a card for each month!
